Delany is by the well known stallion Hesselhøj Donkey Boy, who is the only horse to have won the Championship finals in Denmark as a 4, 5, 6 and 7 year old! Hesselhøj Donkey Boy was a Premium stallion at 3 years old and subsequently won his Stallion performance test. He received bronze at WCYH at 5 years old and silver at WCYH at 7 years old. Additionally, as one of the youngest stallions, he has been named elite stallion at the age of just 8 years old and stallion of the year in 2023 at just 11 years old!
His grandsire Sezuan was world champion for young dressage horses at the age of five, six and seven and is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after dressage stallions of our time. Under his trainer Dorothee Schneider, he also won international competitions up to Inter I. He has since been trained up to Grand Prix level with the help of Patrik Kittel/SWE. The Danish champion stallion, stallion performance test winner, Danish Dressage Horse Champion, Elite Stallion and Stallion of the Year in Denmark also dominates the breeding scene. He produced among others Secret and olympic gold medalist Queenparks Wendy.
Great grandsire Fürstenball was himself a champion stallion in Oldenburg Verband. His offsprings are always among the best. Hardly any stallion can offer such continuity in hereditary performance. He has produced 90 licensed stallions, around 170 premium mares and over 80 horses successful at advanced (S) level, led by Heiline’s Danciera/Carina Cassøe Krüth/DEN, placed fourth by team and seventh individually at the Olympics, as well as five German Champions, amongst them Feine Bella, who was also unbeatable in the Westphalian Championships and at her mare show, and numerous fantastic auction horses, such as Fürst Bayram OLD/Frederic Wandres, 1.7 million Euro price sensation of the P.S.I. In 6'th generation we find Don Carlos who himself wasn't crowned as stallion of the year, but his 2 sons Don Juan as well as Drosselklang II, were both Hanoverian Stallions of the Year,
